La Bottega is an italian & mediterranean family run restaurant, that opened in Nerja on the 12th of may 2017. The owners, Enzo and Lucia, focus on offering genuine dishes both from Italian and Spanish tradition, together with a wide selection of wines from all over the world. We are very passionate about drinks. We change our wine offer every year following the enologist recommendations and our personal taste . Our cellar counts a selection of more than 100 different “bodegas” mainly from Spain and Italy but also from France, Germany, New Zealand, California, South Africa and South America. We also try to acknowledge our guest offering a wide selection of wine by the glass to match the proper dish.
Since we’ve opened in 2017 we established ourself as a reference in Nerja for Gin & Tonics, matching various botanicals and tonic waters to our gins. We recently expanded next door to create a new bar and lounge area where our guests can taste a nice glass of wine while they’re waiting for a table or sip a warm brandy after dinner.
RESERVATION policy
Reservation is recommended but not mandatory. If we have availability, we’ll be happy to seat you even if you don’t have a booking.

Please take in consideration that, due to the high amount of requests, we don’t accept booking for the same week by email.
If you want to book for today, please book online or call us and we will do our best to find you a table!
We do NOT accept bookings made leaving messages on our voicemail. When you book with us, you will always receive a written confirmation, either by email or by text msg on your phone.
SEATING TIME SLOT: We organise seating slots with a 2 hours time limit during daytime and during the first seatings at dinner time. If you are planning to have a long dinner or just chill out with an after dinner drink, please book a table at 8.30pm or later, so that you can have your table until closing.
BOOKING DELAY: We have a 15 minutes grace period. Please call us if your are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. If no call is received, we can’t guarantee that the table will remain available at your arrival.
ONLINE BOOKING: On the online booking system you can only book 2 months in advance. If you are planning to book way ahead, please call us or send us an email.
GROUPS: On the online booking system you can book a table for max 6pax. If you are more than 6pax, please call us or send us an email. Please Keep in mind that, due to the size and ambience of the restaurant, we do NOT ACCEPT parties bigger than 9 pax, even if seated at different tables. We do not reserve the restaurant for private events. Apart from NYE, we do not offer set menus. Every table will be served “a la carte”.
ALLERGIES: This restaurant cater for vegetarian, pescatarian and other light intolerances. Although our chefs manipulate and conserve every product very carefully, we can’t guarantee the lack of cross contamination for strong allergies.
ANIMALS: We welcome small or medium size dogs in our terrace, previous notice. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant. Other kinds of animals are not allowed at all.
